The Full Story

The Union Road Traders Association represents the retail traders and businesses of the Union Road and Maribyrnong Road shopping precinct who contribute to a marketing fund administered by Moonee Valley Council. The association is run by the traders committee and acts on behalf of traders to make key decisions relating to promoting the shopping precinct and promoting the interests of members and their customers.

With more than 100 stores along Union Road, stretching from Athol Street to Geddes Street and including businesses in Maribyrnong Road, it is one of the most vibrant ‘street shopping centres’ in the area.

Union Road traders appreciate the support from their regular customers and in turn try to give back to the local community through events and assisting charitable organisations.
